Workplace safety is a critical priority across the United Arab Emirates, where organisations are expected to maintain high standards of employee wellbeing, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance. In environments ranging from offices and construction sites to hospitality and industrial operations, the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies can significantly reduce risk, protect lives, and support organisational responsibility. Despite this, many workplaces still lack sufficient awareness and preparedness when it comes to first aid response, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
This course is designed to provide a structured understanding of first aid and CPR within UAE workplace environments. It covers essential emergency response principles, legal responsibilities, and safe intervention practices. Participants will learn how to assess incidents, perform primary checks, recognise emergencies, and respond using CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants. The course also explores AED operation, response coordination, and handling critical medical and environmental emergencies.
By the end of the course, learners will be better equipped to respond confidently in emergency situations, support workplace safety, and contribute to a more prepared and responsible organisational environment across the UAE.
